Return & Refund Policy

This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) applies to purchases from Kala Namak Healing Farms trading as Healing Grain (Proprietorship). Our registered operations are based in Uttar Pradesh, India. Our Udyam registration number is UDYAM-UP-70-0029854, and we hold valid FSSAI registration for small-scale food retail.

1. Our Commitment

We handle each packet of rice and spice with care. Because our products are natural, small-batch, and perishable food items, we follow a limited and transparent returns policy to ensure food safety and quality.

2. When returns are accepted

We accept returns or issue refunds or replacements only in the following cases:

  • Items received that are damaged, contaminated, or different from what was ordered (wrong product or incorrect quantity).
  • Items delivered in unacceptable condition due to transit damage.

Please note: we do not accept returns for products that have been opened, used, or consumed. We do not accept returns for change-of-mind, taste preference, or subjective reasons related to flavour or texture variations that are natural to heritage grains and spices.

3. Time limits and eligibility

  • All claims for damaged, spoiled, or incorrect items must be reported within 3 days of delivery.
  • To be eligible for replacement or refund, you must provide clear photos or video evidence of the packaging and product condition and include the order reference number, delivery address, and a short description of the issue.
  • We reserve the right to request return of the product or packaging when reasonable, and to inspect the returned item before determining remedy.

4. How to request a return / replacement / refund

  1. Contact us within 3 days of delivery by WhatsApp at +91 7518600492 or by email to kalanamakhealingfarms@gmail.com.
  2. Provide: (a) order reference, (b) delivery date, (c) photos/videos showing issue, and (d) your preferred remedy (replacement or refund).
  3. We will respond within 48 business hours with next steps.

5. Remedies

If a claim is approved, we will (at our discretion) either:

  • Arrange a replacement shipment at no additional cost; or
  • Issue a refund equal to the product price (excluding delivery/handling charges) via the original payment method or by bank/UPI transfer if the original method is not available.

Approved refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days after approval and completion of any required verification.

6. Shipping, returns and costs

If return shipping is required for verification or replacement, Kala Namak Healing Farms will communicate who bears the shipping cost on a case-by-case basis. For items damaged in transit, we will generally arrange pickup or cover reasonable return postage for verification.

7. Exclusions & Non-Refundable Items

  • Opened, used, or partially consumed food items are non-refundable.
  • Items damaged by customer misuse or storage after delivery are not covered.
  • Claims made after the specified time windows (3 days) may be considered at our discretion but are not guaranteed.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kala Namak Healing Farms’ total liability for any claim under this Policy will be limited to the purchase price of the affected product(s). We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from the use or inability to use our products.

9. Consumer rights & legal remedies

This Policy is in addition to your statutory rights under applicable Indian consumer protection laws. Nothing in this Policy is intended to limit any non-excludable statutory rights.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy and any dispute arising out of it shall be governed by the laws of India. The courts of Uttar Pradesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes in relation to this Policy.
